The National Weather Service will send out survey teams to assess damage left behind by Tuesday's storms.

Some Kansas and Missouri counties are still under Winter Storm Warnings and Winter Weather Advisories, but those weather alerts have been allowed to expire for much of the KPR listening area. Travel is still very hazardous throughout the region.

Meteorologists are starting to get a better idea of which Kansas counties will take the brunt of the winter weather entering the area. Travel Monday and Tuesday is likely to be hazardous throughout the region. Be sure to tune in to KPR for the latest information.

The National Weather Service has expanded the number of counties included in a Winter Storm Warning, and now includes Topeka, Lawrence, Emporia, and the Kansas City metropolitan area.

Anywhere from 2 to 7 inches of snowfall is expected, along with winds up to 50 mph. Travel could be a problem on Monday and Tuesday.

Heavy snow and gusty winds are expected. Travel Monday and Tuesday is likely to be hazardous.

Topeka, Manhattan, Junction City, Emporia, and Abilene could pick up several inches of snow, and travel is expected to be difficult throughout the region.
