Last week, the Washington County Board of Education continued their discussion about purchasing an available property next to Gray Elementary School but ultimately voted against it.

Eleven Washington County schools are among the recipients of $2.6 million in grants the Tennessee Valley Authority has awarded to 64 public schools across the Southeast.

On Thursday night, the Washington County Board of Education held a Called Meeting to discuss making an offer on an available piece of property next to Gray Elementary School.
