Spokane County officials declared a state of emergency regarding the Gray Fire, with evacuations prompted in Four Lakes and Medical Lake. The fire is 0% contained so far.

The Gray Fire broke out west of Spokane and had grown to at least 15 square miles by Saturday, with no containment.

According to the Medical Lake School District, their schools did not have any significant damage in the Gray Fire which has burned 9,500 acres.

Washington Gov. Jay Inlsee has issued an emergency proclamation for fires burning in Spokane County. Level 3 (Go Now!) evacuations remain in place tonight.
