Test security is a major concern for test-takers preparing for exams like the TOEFL iBT and GRE General Test. Sachin Jain, Country Manager of ETS India & South Asia, highlights ETSs commitment to test security and its efforts to prevent fraud. ETS uses a combination of human monitoring and AI technology to ensure the integrity of assessments, including facial recognition and other biometric technologies.

Starting September 22, 2023, the GRE test will undergo several modifications. Among other changes, the test will notably see a reduction in the exam duration, making it a test of less than 2 hours total. This change makes the GRE the shortest exam for graduate, business, and law school admissions.

As per the data shared by the Ministry of External Affairs, as many as 2,59,655 Indian students traveled abroad in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, compared to 5,86,337 in 2019.
