We did our own looking and it appears the location is an extended stay america. Right now there is no word at this point of any injuries or even what triggered those evacuations. It doesnt make any sense. It doesnt make any sense at all. An east bay family struggles to understand why someone opened fire on a freeway killing their loved one. Good evening and thanks for joining us. Im matt keller. A hero, the description used by the family of a man who died after a freeway shooting. Demarcus stopped after being shot three times. His family spoke with abc 7 News Reporter Melanie Woodrow about what they say is his final heroic effort. You can imagine the fall lets grieving. They call demarcus death senseless. Just a short time ago, all lanes were shut in the truck is open. They have the signs flipped further north.
