ST. BONAVENTURE, NY On the cusp of the Top 25, St. Bonaventure men’s basketball team is receiving more national attention with each win and deserves it, coach Mark Schmidt said. All of it.
The Bonnies have earned votes in the Associated Press’s Top 25 in each of the last two weeks. This week, the program earned 19 vote points, good for No. 32 in the country, after having earned votes last week for the first time since March 2018. Bona, 9-1 and atop the Atlantic 10 Conference, has also risen to No. 35 in the NCAA Net rankings, which the NCAA Tournament selection committee uses to evaluate who makes the tournament and who does not.
