Tuesday, May 4, 2021 The Green Forest Lady Tigers’ softball season came to an end with a 12-0 loss to Lincoln in the first round of the district tournament on Thursday, April 29. The loss prevented the Lady Tigers from advancing any further in postseason play but Green Forest still had its best season in several years, finishing with a 7-13 record. “I think this is the most games that Green Forest has won in probably a decade,” said Daniel Fitts, who completed his second season as the Tigers’ head coach. “I still think we should have won double digits. Some of them got canceled, some games I thought we should win.”
