Over a year ago, surveys of both local businesses and the broader community conducted by the Crawford County government in coordination with the Greenbush Education Service Center identified child care as a top priority for American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding. Now, concrete plans for that funding are starting to come to fruition.
Art and play are important parts of a child’s development, which is why the Greenbush Education Service Center will be hosting an event for families with children ages 0 to 5 called “Paint the Town” from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1 at the playground of the Family Resource Center, 1600 N. Walnut in Pittsburg.
