GREENPORT — Following a four-month investigation, a Greenport man was arrested Wednesday for allegedly possessing child pornography, said Aaron Hicks, public information officer for State Police Troop K. Patrick J. O’Leary, 43 , was charged by state police with five counts of possession of a sexual performance by a child, a class E felony, Hicks said. A search warrant was executed Wednesday at O’Leary’s residence, where he was found to be in possession of child pornography, Hicks said. O’Leary was given appearance tickets for Greenport Town Court on Jan. 11. The investigation remains ongoing and anyone with information regarding O’Leary is asked to contact the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation in Livingston at (845) 677-7300.
