Staff Writer EAST LIVERPOOL — City council’s Finance Committee agreed Tuesday to forward three pieces of legislation to council-as-a-whole, including the purchase of a new street sweeper. The Elgin Whirlwind street sweeper will be purchased from Jack Doheny Companies for $305,842 through the state’s cooperative purchasing program.
