Greg Epstein, an atheist and humanist chaplain at Harvard University who says he doesn’t look to God but people for answers, has been elected by his colleagues as the newest president of the Harvard Chaplains.

Although Harvard University was established in 1636 to train men to be literate and well-educated Protestant clergymen, the new chief chaplain at the school is Greg Epstein, a dedicated atheist.

As proof that the phrase “Ivy League” simply means “ass backwards,” the latest news out of Harvard University is that the college’s new head chaplain is an atheist. Oh, that’s fitting, isn’t it?
