A newly-formed chess club that meets weekly at the Park Rapids Senior Citizens Center uses tournament boards, but it doesn t expect participants to play at a tournament level.
Club co-founder Jim Nemzek has been circulating index cards bearing hand-inscribed invitations to the club. Among other things, the cards say, All ages and skill levels welcome.
