Rene Gonzales will expand his role at the mortgage servicer Cenlar FSB by offering technology leadership and implementation guidance.

Cenlar FSB announced new leadership Jan. 30, with the appointment of James Daras as chief executive officer (CEO) and president.

The company's previously appointed co-CEO will support him as COO

Cenlar FSB, the second-largest mortgage servicer and largest sub-servicer, appointed D. James “Jim” Daras as its CEO and president.

Cenlar FSB announced today that D. James “Jim” Daras has been named CEO and president of the Ewing-based financial institution.

The new leaders named at the company highlight what appears to be some heavy recruiting from the ranks of executives who previously worked for a government-sponsored enterprise or a GSE joint venture.

Cenlar FSB has named Dave Applegate as chairman of the board and Robert “Rob” Lux and D. James “Jim” Daras as co-CEOs. 

Executive shake-up comes on the heels of the retirement of the company's head

Cenlar FSB, a leading mortgage loan subservicer and federally chartered wholesale bank, has announced that Dave Applegate has been appointed chairman of the board of directors. In addition, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Robert “Rob” Lux has been named co-CEO along with D. James “Jim” Daras, executive vice president, who will also serve as president. 

Cenlar FSB, the nation's second-largest mortgage servicer and largest sub-servicer, has installed new leadership following the retirement of its president, CEO and chairman Greg Tornquist.
