In remembrance of fallen veterans, VFW Post #10523 will host Canal Winchester’s annual Memorial Day ceremony on Monday, May 31 at Union Grove Cemetery, 400 Winchester Cemetery Road, beginning at 10:30 a.m. The ceremony will feature keynote speaker Colonel Gregg Hesterman, Director of Staff-Air for Joint Force Headquarters, Ohio.
Other ceremony participants will include the Boy Scouts and the Canal Winchester High School Band. This year, the VFW will also present a bench dedicated to those that have served during the global war on terrorism.
