Chris Whitty today attacked tobacco companies who kill for profit as he warned that smoking has caused more deaths than Covid in the past year. Englands chief medical officer said lung cancer, the UKs the most common cancer killer, is almost entirely caused by greedy cigarette firms making money from addiction.
