STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. Graco is recalling an accessory sold with four models of its infant Pack ‘n Play Playards after other manufacturers reported the suffocation of infants after they rolled from their back to their stomach or side while unrestrained, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).
About 51,000 of the inclined sleeper accessory are being recalled. It is included with the Graco Pack ‘n Play Day2Dream Playard with Bedside Sleeper, Graco Pack ‘n Play Nuzzle Nest Playard, Graco Pack ‘n Play Everest Playard and Graco Pack ‘n Play Rock ‘n Grow Playard.

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, infant fatalities have been reported with other manufacturers’ inclined sleep products, after infants rolled from their back to their stomach or side while unrestrained, or under other circumstances. This led them to recalling the sleeper accessory.

Graco today recalled about 51,000 infant inclined sleepers because infant deaths have been tied to other, similar inclined sleep products, according to an announcement from the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
Today’s recall involves inclined sleepers sold as accessories that can stand alone or attach to the following play yards: the Pack ’n Play Day2Dream Playard With Bedside Sleeper, Graco Pack ’n Play Nuzzle Nest Playard, Graco Pack ’n Play Everest Playard, and Graco Pack ’n Play Rock ’n Grow Playard.
According to an announcement from the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, American baby products company, Graco recalled about 51,000 units of inclined sleeper accessories due to the risk of suffocation.
