Pres of actually elevating quality to the Network Level so rather than looking at it at each individual section, you will see it up a Larger Network Department Level. We will be coming to you, the commission, at the Department Level to really present what we are doing in terms of clinical quality, what are the measures, the metrics, and so you will see them. It will not only be those who sit on those panels, but the entire commission will be able to see the full picture of clinical quality. Those will be coming from the network side and we will also incorporate those components of quality that exist. When will those be appealed . [agenda item read]. Chair fewer thank you. We have the Youth Commission. You may begin. I am here wito present on t Youth Commissions upcoming budget in the next two fiscal years. This is both laid out in the charter and also reflects the importance of having youth voices at the table when we are making decisions concerning the city. So our formal budget and policy priorities report will come out in may, as usual, but we are here today to report our preliminary budget
People housed, and this is the first time in 12 years that we have allocated a Million Dollars to provide subsidies which will help [applause] which will help at least 120 individuals and im so grateful and excited for the providers who are here, the people who will work with us on this. The work that we are going to continue to do because we want to make sure that we are helping some of our most vulnerable populations. When you think about it, sadly people who are homeless, living with h. I. V. , they are less likely to get services and treatment and stay healthy as much as they possibly need. Yesterday we opened a 200 bed Navigation Center and the embarcadero. The days are running in together we Just Announced yesterday a new Navigation Center for transitional age youth. Incorporating more technology in communicating with our riders about our services and such. We partner with slide wheel to allow our paratransit taxi riders to use their app to request a taxi. In particular, if you are a wheelchair user, you can specifically ask for a wheelchairaccessible taxi using the app. We have launched a taxi online portal, which allows for paratransit taxi riders to pay their portion of the taxi of their taxi debit card as well as view their trip history and report lost or stolen cards through this online interface. And we have two advisory committees who advise the m. T. A. Paratransit about the accessibility issues that they face throughout the city. One of them is the paratransit council. This is comprised of paratransit riders, Service Providers and communitybased represent i haves. They advise the m. T. A. On Service Quality issues with paratransit as well as help assist us in policy development. The second one is the multimode accessibility advisory commit
