Bills of information for fifth-degree drug charges filed in common pleas court

The Guernsey County Prosecuting Attorney s Office on Monday filed bills of information against five New England residents after their attorneys requested intervention in lieu of arrest on drug-related charges.
The bills of information were filed in the Guernsey County Common Pleas Court 14 months after the quintet was arrested by Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers on Interstate 70 in Guernsey County.
Individuals charged included:
• Matthew Kuba, 24, Nashua, N.H., possession of LSD and aggravated possession of drugs, fifth-degree felonies.
• Aaron C. Kaplan, 27, Sharon, Mass., possession of LSD, aggravated possession of drugs and possession of cocaine, fifth-degree felonies.
