A&M geography and oceanography will lead the university's efforts in preparing students to address challenges in the Gulf of Mexico region.

WASHINGTON — The Gulf Research Program (GRP) of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine announced today that seven scientists have been awarded Early-Career Research Fellowships in the Environmental Protection and Stewardship track.

University of New Orleans faculty member Madeline Foster-Martinez is one of seven scientists to receive a Gulf Research Program Early-Career Research Fellowship in Environmental Protection and Stewardship.
