Some shoppers have already masked up and others said they have one ready to go. Staff members have been reminding people to sign in by pen and paper or scan the Covid Tracer app.

Many locations the woman visited are closing for a few days for deep cleaning and to ensure staff are well. The South Head General Store west of Helensville, Kaiwaka s Eutopia Cafe, and Matakohe s Kauri Museum and Gumdiggers Cafe, are some which have posted on social media to let customers know. Even the Te Awamutu Space Centre has made the decision to close - after the manager was exposed while holidaying in Northland.
