Wax apples are being sorted at a farm in Nantou County’s Guosing Township yesterday. The Tainung No. 3 wax apple, also known as “Brown Sugar Barbie,” is a hybrid variety developed in Taiwan, with each mature fruit weighing about 200g to 300g on average, according to the Guosing Farmers’ Association.
