The bouts of violence sparked in multiple districts of Haryana originated from Nuh, where a communal clash caused during a religious procession led to deaths of 2 home guards.
Eyewitnesses said a mob of around 200 had entered the area around 4 pm, armed with sticks and stones. They vandalized several shops and set a restaurant on fire.
One person died and at least three were injured after a mob attacked and set fire to a mosque in Gurugram, India. Four people have been arrested in connection with the incident.
