Kiss Me Bad is halfway through making a sweep of the Quebec-Bred Series for older pacers. She has won her first two preliminary legs and goes for a third win Sunday (June 25) at Hippodrome 3R.

Aladdin, at odds of 6-1, upset race favourite The Light Speed, who was gunning for his fourth straight win, on Sunday, June 11 at Hippodrome 3R in the opening round of the Quebec-Bred Series.

A former leading trainer at Hippodrome 3R, Maxime Velaye returns to action this Sunday (May 28) with two starters on the 11-race card.

Kicking off the fourth leg of the Blue Chip Matchmaker Series, the Quebec-owned mare Lit De Rose and driver/trainer Patrick Lachance rallied boldly to get up in the final stride and win the fastest of the three $40,000 divisions on Friday night (April 7) at MGM Yonkers Raceway.

The second highest win payoff of the year at Hippodrome 3R took place in the seventh race $10,000 Breeders Trophy Series third leg for three-year-old pacing fillies on Sunday (Aug. 21) as Got Charlie and trainer/driver Daniel Dulude upset the field at odds of 36-1.

Hippodrome 3R hosted the opening round of the Future Stars Series for two-year-old trotters on Friday afternoon (July 22) featuring two $10,000 divisions -- one for the colts and one for the fillies -- both won by driver Stephane Brosseau.

Many of her rivals will be in action during the SBOA eliminations at Woodbine Mohawk Park, but O'Brien Award winner Prohibition Legal instead made an appearance during the Friday (May 13) qualifiers this morning.

With a win last week, Keep Rockin A put herself in position to advance to the April 25 final of the Blue Chip Matchmaker Series for older female pacers at Yonkers Raceway. But the six-year-old mare needs to keep rockin’ on Friday (April 15).

Quebec-owned and bred pacing mare Lit De Rose, racing with Lasix for the first time, angled off the pylons in early stretch and rallied furiously to get by favoured Easy To Please in the first of three $40,000 divisions in round four of the Blue Chip Matchmaker Series on Friday night (April 8) at Yonkers Raceway.

As impressive as Lit De Rose was in defeat in her first start of the year at Woodbine Mohawk Park on July 2, she was even more impressive in Friday’s follow-up performance in the $30,000 Fillies & Mares Preferred Handicap. An O’Brien Award finalist last season, Lit De Rose landed in the four-hole early while Marloe Hanover charged to the lead and whacked out first-half fractions of :26.4 and :56.
