Two youth were elected on Nov. 23 to serve in leadership roles through Oneida County 4-H. Louis Malais, 17, of
Louis Malais
Rhinelander, was elected to serve as vice president and Lorelai Aylesworth, 12, of Rhinelander, was elected to serve as the alternate secretary for the Oneida County 4-H Leaders’ Association. Youth in grades six and older and adults are eligible to be nominated for officer positions with the Leaders’ Association.
The Leaders’ Association consists of adults and youth and works closely with local 4-H staff. The organization’s purpose is to conduct county-level 4-H programs with youth, raise funds and manage a budget to support 4-H programs, coordinate county-level recognition for youth and adults, represent 4-H to the community, and advocate for 4-H.
