The SOP provides guidance on how to protect your workforce and operate sites during COVID-19. The changes are minor according to the CLC, including updated guidance on self-isolation and shielding and the removal of the requirement to display a QR code in site canteens .

The architects’ regulator has unveiled new guidance which significantly expands the existing provisions for sustainability and fire and life safety in the architecture curriculum – with universities being told they should teach a range of subjects relating to the topics for the first time.

The extensive list of subjects (
see below) include the importance of promoting regenerative design and sharing building performance data as well as, in the wake of the Grenfell tragedy, the science of fire and smoke spread and the health and safety effects of poor design decisions.
