Former board president Lewis Reed and former alderman John Collins-Muhammad were sentenced to 45 months. Former alderman Jeffrey Boyd was sentenced to 36 months.

The three men pleaded guilty in August to several felonies.

Former St. Louis Board of Alderman President Lewis Reed also doesn’t believe he should have to repay the FBI for the money it used to catch him in a bribery scheme.

John Collins-Muhammad was one of three St. Louis aldermen and a St. Louis County political appointee indicted for accepting bribes from an FBI informant.
