Alabama Law Enforcement Agency asks for funding to put more state troopers on road Updated Jan 28, 2021; Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Secretary Hal Taylor has requested a $19 million increase in ALEA’S budget for 2022, including $7 million to hire, train, and equip 50 state troopers.
