Hammond’s Belgrade, Damariscotta, Farmington and Machias branches recognized as NSC Industry Leaders for no lost-time accidents last year are a reflection of the company’s emphasis on safety. In Belgrade, Hammond’s headquarters, that branch has twice won the NSC’s Million Work Hours Award after going more than one million consecutive hours without a job-related injury or illness that resulted in lost time.
