Durango High School will be well represented when the wrestling state championships get underway Thursday at Ball Arena in Denver.
The boys wrestling team and the girls wrestling team are each sending.
Durango’s Ryan Dugan continues to show why he’s one of the top wrestlers in the area at 120 pounds. In the biggest tournament with the best competition the Demons have seen so far, Dugan finished firs.
The Durango girls wrestling team finished fourth out of 12 schools in the Western Slope Showdown Friday at Montrose and seventh out of nine schools in the Bloomfield Invitational on Saturday.
