Barbados accumulated five silver and one bronze medal when the inaugural 2022 Caribbean Games concluded yesterday in Guadeloupe with several disciplines featured.Danielle Treasure started the medal count with an historic performance as the first person to win a medal for Barbados at the Caribbean Games when she secured the second-best podium finish of 2:22.36 minutes in the 200m backstroke on Thursday night.It was a proud moment for Treasure, an outstanding national swimmer who has represented Barbados well at various competitions including the CARIFTA Games where she has won several medals over the years.
