The dark depths off Salamis shelter a shattered monument to war s horror

In 1941, the Nazis took over the Greek naval base on Salamis for their U-boat submarines from which to harry Allied supply lines to North Africa. In March, 1942 U-133 sailed from the base never to return. Ross J Robertson and Dimitri Galon delve into the history of the U-boat wreck that lies in the depths near the island.
