the next item on the agenda is the president s announcement, item number 2. good morning for those who are here. in the category of a new 2012, i am really quite excited by virtue of leveraging off the platform of last year s accomplishments, subjective, and accomplishments, objectives, and goals that have been met. although i think we did a pretty good job for 2011, given the conditions of economic challenges to the city, the leveraging office, and from the world of green building council s award of san francisco as the international the best governing policy of any major city in the world, competing against 22 other cities, that is kudos not only for the commission, but for the city as a whole to use with other departments involved. continued push for everyone to objectively and consciously look toward seismic upgrades in every category for all buildings, both residential and commercial, in anticipation of act now, instead of acting too late. i would also like to e
