HARLINGEN, Texas Faith Franklin is running to make her last year at Harlingen High count. She s already won gold in the 400 meter dash at the New Balance Nationals Indoor Championships in Boston last month, now she s hoping to break records at this year s Area Track & Field Meet.
Myrtis Marilyn Brett Otteman, 83, of Harlingen, Texas, loving daughter, wife, mother and teacher went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 17, 2022. Marilyn was born January 23, 1938, in Temple, Texas to James Laurence Brett and Myrtis Corley Brett. She spent her childhood and young adult life growing up in Highland Park in Dallas, Texas. She graduated from Ursuline Academy in May of 1955. Upon graduating from high school, Marilyn attended St. Thomas University in Houston, Texas for a semester until she traveled to Colorado for a ski trip.
Antonio Sandoval, Jr. 73, of San Angelo, Texas went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, in San Angelo. Antonio was born February 25, 1948, in Harlingen, Texas to Antonio and Guadalupe Ibabes Sandoval. Antonio grew up in Harlingen, TX and attended Harlingen High School.
