Almost two decades since its last flight in the Italian Air Force an F-104S/ASA-M has just flown again in Florida thanks to Starfighters.

The JAS 39 Gripen is a Swedish delta-wing canard multirole fighter produced by Saab. It is powered by a single Volvo RM12 turbofan engine supplying 18,100 lbf. (80.5 kN) of afterburning thrust. The RM12 is a license-produced variant of the General Electric F404-GE-400. The newer JAS 39NG series aircraft carry the higher-power GE F414G, which provides upwards of 22,000 lbf. (97.9 kN) of afterburning thrust.  

The F-16 "Fighting Falcon" (known as "Viper" to its operators) is a single-engine multirole fighter. It was initially designed and produced by General Dynamics up until 1993 when the company sold the Fort Worth production line to Lockheed Martin. More than 4,500 F-16s have been produced and more than 2,800 aircraft remain in operation with 25 nations, making the type among the most prolific fighter families in the post-World War II period.

The E-3D aircraft, retired from service last year, should replace Chile's ageing Boeing 707 Cóndor aircraft.
