Illinois will expand its COVID-19 vaccination eligibility Thursday to anyone 16 and older with underlying conditions, but Henderson County continues to face down a long waitlist of those 65 and older. They re kind of opening it up to everybody now. We re not ready to do that, but Illinois Public Health seems to think we should be, Henderson County Health Department Administrator Angela Myers told The Hawk Eye Wednesday following a morning clinic in which 175 doses were administered.
