More symptom-free Covid-19 testing sites opening in Kent at Sandwich, Cranbrook, Ashford, Gravesend and Herne  |  Updated: 21:09, 18 January 2021 Another five rapid-result Covid-19 testing sites for people who don’t have symptoms are opening in Kent, in addition to 19 centres already in operation. From Wednesday, January, 20, people can now book for tests at Sandwich Guildhall Museum in Sandwich, Vestry Hall in Cranbrook, from Friday, 22, Ashford North Youth Centre in Ashford, and from Wednesday, 27, the Conservative Club in Gravesend and Herne Centre in Herne. KMTV reports on the latest vaccine news All 24 symptom free testing sites will be open daily from 9am to 7pm. Children aged five-years-old and over can also be booked to take the test but will need assistance at the site from a parent/carer.

The stories - one read by film and TV actress Jessica Hynes - can be accessed in the Lower Leas Coastal park. Peter Jonathan, who regularly visits Folkestone, is an up and coming writer. Picture: Igor Emmerich/Michele Sheldon The StoryMap project comes from Hand of Doom Productions, a community interest company, who launched a short story competition last year. The aim of the project was to encourage people of all ages and backgrounds to write and tell stories about the town, inspired by its landscape and heritage.
