Some of the BLM folks were armed, too. You see one woman trying to wave the BLM folks back from the man, yelling, “No, no, no.” She was armed. There were also two men who were armed. The BLM folks were also getting in the face of another diner, as well. Fortunately, it appears the interaction ended with people getting the diners inside.
At some point, the police also chased and arrested three of them.

They screamed, “F k 12!” which is code for saying “screw with the police.” Others encouraged those being arrested to make it as difficult as possible for the police to take them in. Then they complained about how the police were treating them.

Black Lives Matter organizers continued to demand justice for Taylor during the famous horse race, commissioning a plane to fly around Churchill Downs with the message, “Protect Black Women. Divest from Police.”
Protesters could also be heard throughout the day chanting, “No Justice, No Derby!”
The story comes after Attorney General Merrick Garland announced that the Department of Justice is opening an investigation into the Louisville Police Department as a result of Taylor’s death.
