what do you think s going to happen? i think that we re going to win. i don t think it s going to be close to the electoral college. i think we re going to win clearly. and i think you re going to see i think we re going to win this state, ohio. i ve been here 23, 24 days, something like that. i think we re going to win iowa, i think we re going to win wisconsin, nevada, new hampshire. i think we ve got an even chance of winning virginia and florida. so it could be a big win. and it also could be close. good morning. look at that, how beautiful. we are here. we are here. what are we, a day away? this is so exciting. good morning, everyone. he said it wasn t going to be close. and then he said it was going to be close. maybe he was talking about president clinton. it s monday, november 5th, the day before election day. we have with us mike barnicle, senior political analyst, mark
the low interest rates in a way that is bad for them. most of those people own their homes and they are not buying homes. they don t benefit from low interest rates, but if they have fixed incomes and their investment s in bonds, the return is very low. so their income s squeezed. that s another reason why florida s a state with mitt romney with an advantage. greta: that s a must win. oh, yeah, if he doesn t win florida, he is not going to win a lot of other places he has to have florida. greta: ohio consumes everybody. tonight, the poll numbers show at least one poll shows him behind president obama by more than he has been behind. down 5 and a poll from time magazine, a polling firm with which i am not familiar. i don t know i don t know how reliable that poll is, but the important thing, there is not a single poll in the state of ohio that shows mitt romney ahead. not one. greta: he has his work cut

hear about is ohio. take us across the battleground states mitt romney would need to carry if the president wins the buckeye state. so essentially if president obama winds up winning ohio, romney is going to have to win three of four of the following states. he needs three of four of wisconsin, iowa, nevada, or colorado. so that s a pretty tough g that s why it s such a narrow path for romney, why ohio is important, why florida and virginia is important. that s giving florida and virginia to mitt romney. if he doesn t win florida, there s almost there is no path that you can really see. right. perry, the president drew another big crowd in new hampshire today and a huge one at ohio university last night. do you chalk up this high energy to his debate performance on tuesday or has the campaign really plotted this out so that the final 20 days will be when the foot is to the floor? you know, whenever i go with him, there are big crowds.
he likes these if he doesn t win tomorrow night, it s 0-2 in a 3-game match. if he wins tomorrow, you go to the rubber match. thank you, david corn. that s how we think in baseball season still. thank you, david maraniss. up next, vice president joe biden gets the snl treatment. wait until you catch this. poor joe. tomorrow we will be live from hofstra university for live editions of hardball at 5:00, a different show at 7:00, and i will join rachel maddow. we will be back at 10:30 with lots of reaction. stay up late with us for the biggest fun, stay up at midnight, we have great guests coming on live from the debate site. this is hardball, the place for politics.
