The MCX December gold futures were trading down by Rs 914 or 1.59% from the Friday closing price at Rs 56,686 per 10 gram on the MCX while the December Silver futures were trading at Rs 66,304 per kg, lower by Rs 3,553 or 5.09%.

The MCX December gold futures were trading up by Rs 7 or 0.01% from the Thursday closing price at Rs 57,853 per 10 gram on the MCX while the December Silver futures were trading at Rs 71,285 per kg, higher by Rs 685 or 0.97%.

The MCX December gold futures were trading down by Rs 91 or 0.16% from the Wednesday closing price at Rs 58,192 per 10 gram on the MCX while the December Silver futures were trading at Rs 70,671 per kg, higher by Rs 122 or 0.17%.

The MCX October gold futures were trading down by Rs 182 or 0.31% from the Tuesday closing price at Rs 58,250 per 10 gram on the MCX while the December Silver futures were trading at Rs 71,110 per kg, lower by Rs 667 or 0.93%.

The MCX October gold futures were trading down by Rs 26 or 0.04% from the Mondays closing price at Rs 58,675 per 10 gram on the MCX while the December Silver futures were trading at Rs 71,842 per kg, lower by Rs 308 or 0.43%.

The MCX October gold futures were trading down by Rs 61 or 0.10% from the Friday closing price at Rs 58,885 per 10 gram on the MCX while the December Silver futures were trading at Rs 73,190 per kg, lower by Rs 147 or 0.20%.

The MCX October gold futures were trading down by Rs 76 or 0.12% from the Thursday closing price at Rs 58,750 per 10 gram on the MCX while the December Silver futures were trading at Rs 73,010 per kg, lower by Rs 58 or 0.08%.

The dollar index (DXY) is hovering around 105.60 while the US 10-year bond yield is at a 15-year-high of 4.50% with Asian currencies remaining weak. He is expecting the rupee to be in a range of 82.70-83.30 against the USD over the next few days

Gold futures are down 0.05% or by Rs 31 on the month-to-date basis while they have gained 8.08% or by Rs 4,388 on the year-to-date basis, Anuj Gupta, Head Commodity & Currency at HDFC Securities, of HDFC Securities told ETMarkets.

On Comex, Gold futures were trading at $1,949 per troy ounce on Wednesday, down by $2.20 or 0.11% while Silver futures were at $23.345, lower by $0.111 or 0.470%.
