Prime Minister Modi launched the first phase of the Rozgar Mela on October 22 last year marking the beginning of the campaign to provide 10 lakh government jobs.

The event was also accompanied by the Kaushal Mela, which allows the youth to register for skill development training. There were also arrangements in place for counselling sessions for the job seekers.

The newly appointed individuals, hailing from different regions of the country, have been selected for a variety of positions in both central government departments and state governments/union territories.
