Reporter it happened at the end of a freeway onramp on tuesday night. The incident was captured on cell phone video by a passing motorist. The chp says the unknown woman was seen barefoot, walking along the freeway shoulder at times stepping out into the heavy traffic. According to the chp the woman ignored the officers command to get out of the traffic lane then became physically combative. The report says the officer was concerned about the womans safety as well as his own and when he tried to place her under arrest a physical altercation ensued. The woman didnt complain of any injuries. And the officers didnt see any evidence of them. She was transported to l. A. County medical for evaluation.
