Today, the Florida Department of Health issued an update on COVID-19. This week, the first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine were received in Florida, and are being administered to front-line health care workers and long-term care facility staff and residents. To provide Floridians with the latest information about vaccinations in the state, the Florida Department of Health has issued a COVID-19 vaccine report that will be updated daily. As posted on the Agency for Health Care Administration’s hospitalization dashboard at 2 p.m., there are 5,182 current hospitalizations with a primary diagnosis of COVID-19.
