At least 10 people were killed, seven of them in Etawah, and 11 injured in incidents of lightning, and wall and house collapses as heavy rains in parts of Uttar Pradesh affected normal life.
Thirty nine people lost their lives and three were injured in various rain-related incidents in Uttar Pradesh in a day, the state government said today. Most of these casualties were due to dust storms, lightning, thunderstorms and drowning.
