A number of properties in Barrow were targeted last week, leading police to open several investigations. A home in Dalton Lane was burgled at approximately 11am on Wednesday. Police are searching for a man described as white, aged in his mid-40s, approximately 5ft 6 inches tall, of stocky build with short receding light hair. He was also seen carrying a small cardboard box at the time of the burglary. The man was wearing dark trousers and a light coloured shirt, possibly blue. Police would like to speak to this man or anyone who witnessed him in the area of Dalton Lane between 11am and 12pm on Wednesday.
