All InterMountain ESD Offices – Pendleton Headquarters, Hermiston Punkin Center & La Grande Joseph Building – are
CLOSED on Monday 2/15 due to inclement weather and hazardous road conditions. Staff are working remotely and available via email.
Pilot Rock School District is
CLOSED on Monday 2/15 due to inclement weather.
Tuesday 2/16:
Echo School District will be CLOSED to IN-PERSON Instruction & Online Classes on Tuesday 2/16.
Prescott Sch. Dist.:
2 Hours Late. Student pick up and drop off times, staff arrivals and the start of school will be 2 hours later than usual. Breakfast will not be served. We will reassess road and weather conditions by 5 AM tomorrow. Please stay tuned for possible changes. Stay safe, Tigers! (Effective tomorrow - Tue Feb 16th)
Hermiston School District announced that all classes will be canceled for Tuesday, Feb. 16, due to snow.
The school district was planning to bring kindergarten and first grade students back to the classroom for their first day of hybrid learning on Tuesday. That milestone will be postponed by at least a day.
All other students classes are also canceled, even if they are virtual.
Other cancelations announced so far:
⢠Umatilla School District has canceled limited in-person instruction for Feb. 16 but will continue online classes.
⢠All in-person classes are canceled for Stanfield School District for Tuesday, Feb. 16, and parents are asked to refer to the district s inclement weather schedule on its website. Meal delivery is also suspended.
HERMISTON — As school districts across Eastern Oregon began announcing school closures, the snow day for Hermiston meant a delay to the long-anticipated start of hybrid learning.
