Oldham hero Frank Rothwell Oldham’s hero grandad Frank Rothwell has passed the halfway mark in his solo 3,000 mile Atlantic row, with donations now reaching £600,000 towards his remarkable target of raising £1million for Alzheimer’s Research UK.  Frank began his epic journey from La Gomera as part of the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge on December 12.
