Cuba has seven judokas in qualifying ranking for Tokyo
Havana, Jan 2 (Prensa Latina) Cuba currently has seven judokas included in the world rankings for the Tokyo Olympics.
Idalys Ortiz, holder of 28 gold awards, is Cuba s only exponent on the top position, and with 7,118 points in the category of more than 78 kilograms (kg) will be participating in her fourth Olympics.
Ortiz won gold medals in the London 2012 Olympic and in the Herstal Open in Belgium and bronze at the Dusseldorf Grand Slam last February.
Ortiz is ahead by a thousand points in her division from the Brazilian Maria Suelen Altheman (5,818 points) and the Japanese Akira Sone (5,550 points), who are second and third, respectively.
