The fundamental and advanced level courses designed for Class VIII-XII students, and senior engineering graduates respectively
Hexagon Capability Centre India (HCCI), an arm of the Swedish technology firm Hexagon AB, has started HexArt Institute to offer free courses in artificial intelligence (AI).
The courses, however, are offered only to students from Class VIII and above. Telangana IT and Industries Secretary Jayesh Ranjan formally launched the 2,000-square feet facility at Mehdipatnam on Monday.
Hexagon has about 20,000 employees in 50 countries, including 1,400 at the Hyderabad facility.
Started as a corporate social responsibility initiative, the institute targets to train over 350 students every year in different batches.

Hyderabad, Dec 28 : Hexagon Capability Centre India (HCCI), the research and development arm of Hexagon, a sensor, software and autonomous solutions player launched HexArt Institute to democratise and further Artificial Intelligence skills among the masses on Monday.
Launched as part of HCCI s corporate social responsibility activities, HexArt will offer free AI education through courses designed for students from classes 8 to 12 and senior engineering graduates as well.

Fundamental, advanced level courses for students to be offered free of cost
An Artificial Intelligence community centre that will offer courses free of cost to school students and engineering graduates as a step towards democratising AI knowledge cum skill has been established in the city by Hexagon Capability Center India (HCCI).
Set as part of HCCI’s corporate social responsibility education outreach, HexArt Institute, the facility, was inaugurated by Industries and IT Secretary Jayesh Ranjan on Monday. Announcing the 2,000 sq ft fully equipped facility at Mehdipatnam is now open to residents of Telangana, a release said the courses and certification programmes
