The N.C. Department of Health and Human Services reported Thursday 849 new cases of the virus statewide for an overall total of 1,000,416 since the pandemic began.

Three new COVID-19 deaths were reported in New Hampshire on Thursday and there was no change to the number of active hospitalizations.

North Carolina has surpassed the 13,000 threshold for COVID-19 related deaths as the daily case count declines and other key metrics stabilize.
