Several areas of the Braintree district have been added to the Covid hotspot map, according to the latest figures. According to the Governments map, three parts of the district recorded three or more cases in the week to April 20. Silver End and Stisted and Flitch Green, Felsted and High Easter have both recorded three cases in the last seven days. Stolen saddles during High Easter burglary - Credit: Essex Police A burglary in High Easter saw tens of thousands of pounds worth of horse riding gear stolen. Essex Police are now appealing for information. The burglary took place at around 5.20am March 20. Equipment taken included six saddles. Across the Braintree district as a whole the figures for the seven days to February 23 show an infection rate of 84.5 cases per 100,000 people.
